The Months Ahead…

So, it’s been a long and rather weird summer. The Olympics were a great success, let’s be fair, and we feel the opening ceremony showcased all the great music we as a country have produced. We had modern greats like the Arctic Monkeys performing Beatles tracks, Sir Paul himself even graced the stage and got us all singing along. The fact that so much of the music wasn’t the poppy, cheesy rubbish that we put out most of the time wasn’t really included excited us. Sex pistols blared around the Olympic stadium as the opening video played on the screens. All of these inclusions warmed our hearts, and gave us the belief that yes, there is hope for us music lovers. On a slightly different note, can anyone think of anything cooler than Beckham driving a speedboat? Or even the Queen skydiving with James Bond?

In light of this awesome summer, we hope to keep the good times going here at Sin City. Freshers is fast approaching, and with that a new group of young and enthusiastic students will gather in the city of Swansea. Never fear, we are prepared! Not only will the club nights you know and love commence as per, but an array of exciting talent will grace us with their presence at the club…

We’ll spoil you with the likes of Vince Kidd (off of the Voice & SBTV), Benjamin Francis Leftwich, Hadouken!, Dan Le Sac and many more great acts.

So if you’re sat at home, with the Olympic blues, the Festival blues or indeed any other worry, we just want you to know one thing. Don’t fear, don’t worry… We’ve got this!

Much Love from the Sin City Crew x

Well… we let this go didn’t we!!

Who would have thought that keeping a blod up to date was such hard work…!! Well it is; The last few months have been mental, we’ve had loads on our plate! Ed Sheeran was a massive success, Francesqa and Max Raptor were both great gigs, Gay for Johnny Depp put on one hell of a show but gig of the year so far has to go to The Gallows who played their penultimate gig in Sin City before the band split. The energy in the room was amazing and Frank did not dissapoint! If you missed it… sadly, you missed out!

Now the Summer… and we’ve got our weekly Sin Savers // Face/off and The Wonder Years sessions contuing throughout these sun bathed Swansea days (yeah right…?!), but we get a bit of breathing space to work out exactly how we intend to blow the roof off Freshers, and welcome back the students in style the way only Sin City knows how!

We’ve got a whole load of new gigs to announce, which i’ll get to this evening! Some well known… some new breaking bands… and of course; some world class DJ’s.

For now though… I’m going to take the rest of the afternoon… sit back and relax with my Iced Mocha! More Tonight…!

kaththegreat asked: Hello sin city!

Can you organise some sort of alternate summer ball seeing as the summer ball itself looks terrible this year? It'd be aaaace!

-Katie

I can’t do an Alternative Ball…. I’d want The Streets

Apologies for the amateurness of this video… but I’ve only just started to play with video editing software… still… it should give you a nice idea of what’s coming up in May!!!

Bruno Mars - Lazy… Not the most ‘Sin City’ Song in the world… but we played it in the office on Monday, loved the video and we haven’t stopped singing it since…
